CSERA - Armenia
The Center for Socio-Economic Research and Analysis (CSERA)
is a think tank established in 2002 in Yerevan, Armenia. The main goal
of CSERA is improvement of social status of Armenians through sustainable
and long-term economic development of the country.
To achieve this goal, the following objectives are main for CSERA:
- Poverty elimination as an overarching goal and inspiration
for the whole
scope of activities coming as a consequence of the latter;
- EU integration adopting and introducing benchmarks for
political,
economical and social spheres in the medium term and promoting idea
of
Eurointegration and increasing public awareness, as the most perspective
integration scenario;
- Improvement of Business Environment aimed at reducing
administrative
burdens and costs for doing business in Armenia, which will enable larger
circles of population to explore the self employment opportunities and
income generation challenges;
- Combating corruption towards increasing efficiency and
availability of
services provided by the Government to citizens;
- Strengthening local self-governance system targeted to
decentralization of government authorities;
- Regional cooperation Support for rehabilitation of earthquake
zone and
Artsakh to remove disbalances and ensure sustainable regional development;
- Protection of human rights and democracy as a basic prerequisite
for
formation of constitutional state.

FAR Centre – Azerbaijan
Mission:
Enlightenment and support for democratic reforms and development of a market economy in the country.
Activity types:
- Analysis of economic situation and progress of reforms in the country;
Analysis of the political situation in the country;
- Conducting sociological surveys in the country;
- Conducting roundtables, workshops and conferences;
- Conducting training sessions;
- Publishing books and other print products.
